We're looking for an exceptional Industry Subject Matter Expert (ISME) to lead the way in shaping DP World's growth in the High-Tech vertical across Greater China. In this role, you will bring deep industry insight to help us identify, secure, and retain key customers.
You will play a critical role in driving strategic sales engagements, translating technical capabilities into high-impact solutions, and positioning DP World as the leading end-to-end supply chain partner for the High-Tech industry. Beyond driving solutions, you'll also act as a thought leader — representing DP World at industry events, contributing to trade marketing, and strengthening our market reputation.
Key Accountabilities
- Design and innovate
Hi-Tech vertical supply chain solutions
, delivering tailored products that address the unique needs of Beneficial Cargo Owners (BCOs). - Partner with Key Account Management and Sales teams to create strong value propositions that win and grow high-value customer accounts.
- Work with Solutions Engineers to design, build, and operationalize innovative end-to-end supply chain offerings.
- Represent DP World in industry groups, forums, and networks, sharing insights that shape the High-Tech supply chain landscape.
- Identify and qualify potential High-Tech customers, generating strategic leads and opportunities for the sales team.
- Oversee the implementation and performance of High-Tech vertical solutions, proactively solving challenges to ensure delivery success.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, sales tools, and campaigns for the High-Tech sector.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Prove years' experience in the High-Tech vertical, preferably in freight forwarding and/or supply chain management roles.
- Proven expertise combining technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and project leadership.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent consultative selling and relationship management capabilities.
- Demonstrated pipeline planning and business development experience.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative, process-driven, and proactive approach with the ability to prioritize and deliver under pressure.
- Natural leadership qualities with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
