Role Overview:

Provide the leadership, strategy and policy for the function building a high performance engagement model with the business and regions.
Partners with stakeholders outside of Procurement to ensure alignment.
Coordinate and support national and regional purchasing strategies around values-based purchasing and specific market transformation priorities.
Work with regional teams to embed and support market transformation strategy
Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with raw material and indirect suppliers management
Development of resources, implementation of the new values-based purchasing standard, tools
Establish and implement short & long-term goals, strategic plans, policies and procedures for the Division aligned with the Group performance metrics
Deliver on key objectives, delivery, quality, service, cost, innovation, and growth commitments

Ideal Profile:

Regional Leadership experience in Supply Management/Sourcing/Procurement
Minimum of ten years experience in the Chemical Industry, focus on raw material procurement
Direct experience in a chemical manufacturing environment and deep understanding of technology complexity vs cost
Ability to think strategically and creatively while organizing time efficiently.
Ability to manage relationships internal and external to complete projects with multiple partners.
