Manage a group of commodity sourcing for both Direct and Indirect procurement, new product program sourcing as well as strategy and process improvement for both sourcing and materials management through negotiation, policy & strategy setting and auditing to achieve total material cost & effectiveness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for global supply chain management activities.
Initiate, develop, drive and implement cost reduction programs (PPV) and efficient purchasing workflow.
Enforce vendor assessment, on boarding policies and audits to same, including support of investigations as needed.
Control budget planning, optimizing and controlling of materials in accordance with the corporate guidelines so as to maximize the contribution to operating profit (P&L)
Leading the Commodity Sourcing and Program Sourcing teams in strategic supply chain management function and developing long term strategic sources.
Directing and coordinating the implementation of strategic sourcing & cost management to meet the Company total cost competitiveness.
Improving the material management in plan/buy processes, customs/shipping and warehouse management
Coordinating with Corp QA for driving strategic Supplier Quality Management globally
Lead the team to support EMS sourcing and procurement activities.
Executing MOR (Maintenance, Operation & Repairing) and indirect materials with the most cost effectiveness in all sites.
REQUIREMENT
- University graduate with major in mechanical, industrial, electrical/electronic engineering, or supply chain management or business administration.
- At least 10-15 year experience in Supply Chain and Sourcing with at least 5-8 years in a Senior management position. Experience in leading sizeable team in an MNC company specialized in engineering components, electronics and MRO.
- Fast pace manufacturing environment.
- English & Chinese.
