Position Purpose Description:
The Associate Director of FP&A for Overhead Management will be a pivotal leadership role within the Finance department. This individual will be responsible for the end-to-end management and strategic control of the company's entire Zone overhead expenses. The role demands a unique blend of deep financial expertise, strong stakeholder management skills, and a process-improvement mindset. The successful candidate will ensure financial discipline, optimize resource allocation, and provide transparent reporting on all overhead costs, directly contributing to the company's profitability and operational efficiency.
Position Responsibility
:
Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for all overhead cost centers across the region.
Partner with function / department heads (e.g., Supply, Commercial, People, T&A, Legal) to develop realistic and challenging operational budgets aligned with strategic goals.
Challenge assumptions and drive cost-consciousness while supporting necessary investments for growth.
Perform monthly tracking, variance analysis, and reporting of actual overhead spend against budget and forecast.
Deliver insightful and actionable management reports, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
Investigate and explain significant variances, providing root-cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
Serve as the primary finance business partner for all overhead department leaders.
Establish strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to understand their operational drivers and financial needs.
Provide financial guidance and support for business decisions, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
Develop, implement, and enforce company-wide policies for overhead spending, including travel & expense, procurement, and vendor management.
Design and optimize the overhead cost approval workflow to ensure robust financial control and segregation of duties.
Continuously review and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
Act as the finance lead for the development and enhancement of financial systems related to overhead management (e.g., ERP modules, budgeting tools, T&E systems).
Champion and drive initiatives for reporting automation, leveraging tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar to create dashboards for self-service analytics.
Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and reporting, reducing manual effort and improving data integrity.
Qualification:
1.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or professional certification (CPA, CMA, CFA) is highly preferred.

4.5-8 Years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or team lead capacity.
