Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design and implementation of distributed database kernel features;
- Ensure the high-quality delivery of distributed database kernel features;
- Provide high-quality technical support for distributed database users.
Requirements
- Graduate majoring in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields (2026 graduation cohort);
- Solid computer fundamentals, familiar with Linux development environment, and proficient in at least one programming language among Go/Rust/Java/C/C++/SQL;
- Familiar with common data structures and algorithms, and have a strong passion for solving complex technical problems;
- Ability to design and execute different levels of testing for complex code functions, and possess a craftsman's spirit for delivering high-quality code;
- Passion for fundamental technologies, strong learning ability, and good team communication and collaboration skills;
- Good English proficiency: able to fluently read English papers, write technical documents in English, and conduct basic communication with international teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for open source, with contributions to open source projects (not limited to TiDB/TiKV/TiFlow);
- Basic understanding of distributed databases, such as computing engines, indexes, distributed systems, transactions, and relational databases;
- Experience in participating in, winning awards in, or completing projects for programming competitions/events such as ACM, TopCoder, corporate Hackathons, or Talent Plan.
