Conduct research and pre-development of electric drive control system for electrified vehicles
- Development of control software for motor controller (inverter) and power electronic converter (DC/DC).
Work closely with the Corporate Research headquarter in Germany and business units on competence development and project activities
- Work closely with business units in China to supply cutting edge technology solutions and to transform them to products
- Execute technology scouting that covers both academia and industry in China/Asia for preparing strategic decisions
- Main responsibility includes:
Pursue technology excellence by contributing brilliant ideas to new product concepts including patent filing
- Prove innovation concept by pre-development including design, simulation, prototyping,test and validation
- Design and implement software of controller devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment
- Support project activities to transfer deliverables to business units successfully. Qualifications
Msc in discipline of Control, Electrical or Computer Engineering
Expert knowledge in control strategy of induction motor,PMSM or BLDC, or DC/DC power converter, PWM modulation method, sensorless control, NVH control algorithms,fault tolerant control, fault detection and diagnosis, et al. Experiences in AI and big data application is a plus.
Expert knowledge in advanced control algorithm development like MPC, fuzzy control,adaptive control and neural network-based control algorithm
Expert knowledge and practical experiences in power converter/inverter software design,motor modeling and simulation, rapid control prototyping and test validation, simulation and development tools e.g., Matlab/Simulink, dSPACE, C language, Labview, Plecs,development process based on AUTOSAR, and microcontrollers (DSP) such as TI,
Infineon chips. Experiences in VCU design is a plus.
Experience in development of device driver such as Flash, EEPROM, CAN, SPI, ADC,etc
Experience programming in multithreaded/RTOS environments
Strong documentation and writing skills
International education and experiences are a plus
Efficient, goal-oriented, structured working style,experienced in project work
Passionate for innovation; filed patents on qualified content during PhD or prior work is a benefit
Strong team player; open to work in an international environment
