Accountability :
- Responsible to lead BU according to Ferring philosophy, mission and Leadership principle/ACE.
 - Develop the TA sales and marketing plans in alignment with regional and global strategies as well as with other internal stakeholders (i.e. medical,
 
access)
- Ensure resources allocation and execution as well as monitoring and potential corrective actions to achieve Sales target
 
Responsible for the management of OPEX as approved by the CEO
Lead at therapeutic area the building and implementation of the 5 years Business Plan
- Develop the yearly TA budget and once approved, lead its implementation and delivers financial results.
 - Together with Commercial Excellence and following CEO endorsement, build and adapt the TA organization ensuring commercial effectiveness
 
through structure, processes optimization and KPIs.
- Together with Commercial Excellence, ensure proper territory design, target allocation and sales incentive plan design to drive team performance
 
Drive people development and engagement, effective performance management including talent pipeline
- Ensure proper implementation of sales force effectiveness tools (CRM and applications) and KPIs to enhance sales force productivity
 - Ensure that Multichannel Marketing is incorporated into brand plans and properly executed. Consider alternative go to market model to drive
 
performance of the TA . Understand and communicate emerging trends and opportunities and potential new approaches.
- Ensure solid strategies, tactical plans and execution are in place for optimal launch of new products
 - Ensure a competitive marketing and sales team, by hiring, coaching, assessing, developing IDPs and managing performance in close collaboration with
 
HR functions. Ensure training needs are addressed by L&D
- Ensure a deep understanding of unmet needs, change in environment, competitive intelligence and mobilize the team/resources to develop
 
appropriate strategies and tactics to grow our business
Build and maintain continuous customer contact, developing compliant relationships for mutual partnership
Ensure collaboration and alignment with support functions and other departments.
Required Education / Qualifications / Skills
(minimum requirements for the job) – include equivalents
- 10+ years' experience in managing sales and/or marketing functions, including direct management of a team on pharma/healthcare industry
 - University degree
 - Fluent in English, written and spoken in addition to Chinese
 - Strong presentation and written communication skills.
 - Technical expertise in the TA
 - Outstanding marketing knowledge, including experience of product launches
 - Sound sales effectiveness knowledge
 - Analytical ability
 - Understanding of local healthcare environment, regulations and market access
 - Willingness to learn
