We are a leading sodium-ion battery company based in China, specialising in the research, development, and manufacturing of cathode materials, battery cells, and battery packs. Our products are widely used in two- and three-wheelers, energy storage systems, and UPS applications. The company is establishing a presence in the UK and actively expanding into global markets. We employ over 250 people and hold more than 140 patents. With strong recognition from both clients and investors, we recently completed the largest funding round in China's sodium-ion battery sector.
To further strengthen our global brand presence and accelerate international growth, we are seeking a Vice President of Marketing to lead brand development and market strategy bringing our safe, sustainable, and cost-effective sodium-ion battery technology to the global stage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional marketing strategies, including brand positioning, product promotion plans, and market penetration paths.
- Lead the marketing team and oversee communication channels such as the company website, exhibitions, PR, media, and social platforms.
- Collaborate with the sales, R&D, and executive teams to develop and implement go-to-market plans for new products.
- Plan and drive demand-generation marketing initiatives to increase leads, acquire customers, and improve retention.
- Establish a marketing performance evaluation system to measure ROI through data analysis.
- Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to continuously optimise strategy and positioning.
Qualifications:
- B2B marketing management experience, preferably in the battery, energy storage, or EV sectors.
- Proven track record in leading major industrial or enterprise client marketing projects, especially in Europe and Asia.
- Experience in leading marketing efforts within technically or engineering-driven organisations.
- Familiarity with marketing operations in fast-growing or scaling companies.
- Fluent in both Chinese and English, with strong cross-cultural communication skills.
- Excellent leadership, team-building, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Strong strategic planning, communication, and project management skills.
- A strong understanding of marketing trends in battery technology and awareness of global market is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
