Education/Qualification

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Expertise in APQP4Wind principles, with certification as an APQP4Wind Specialist or higher.

Experience and Certifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in working for a wind company (OEM/Supplier) in quality management, NPD/NPI management, Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) specialist or a related role.
Strong knowledge of wind industry quality standards and manufacturing processes.
Should have valid APQP4Wind Specialist Certification.
Certifications in VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5, IATF 16949, ISO 9001:2015 LA , PMP/PRINCE certified will be added plus.
Should have experience in conducting one or more of internal or external audits in accordance with different standards - ISO 9001 ,IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5 covering some or all parts of an organization's value chain
Should have good communication skills and should be a good team player
Should be willing to travel to client's location (if required) and work in close collaboration with them

Job Responsibilities

Work closely with SGS clients to assess the New Product Development (NPD) processes with respect to APQP4Wind Standards. Do a gap assessment and make a report
Identify APQP4Wind maturity improvement projects from the gap assessment, then work with the supplier to implement them using the principles of PDCA (Plan-Do-Check - Act)and SDCA (Sustain-Do-Check-Act)
