Metric Bio are proud to be exclusively working with China's (& arguably, the world's) leading Preclinical & Discovery CRO - on the hunt for a Toxicology Study Director,
to work out of their Suzhou site in Jiangsu, China.
Reporting into the Senior Director, you will be leading a team of ~10 direct reports, designing toxicology study plans, managing project implementation, overseeing quality control, and coordinating team efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement toxicology study plans, ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Lead data analysis, reporting, and establish SOPs to meet GLP standards
- Manage and train scientific teams, building capabilities and ensuring high performance
- Support regulatory submissions (IND/NDA) across the US, Europe, and China
- Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to drive project success
- Provide technical expertise in support of business development
Candidate Requirements:
- 5Y+ leading preclinical toxicology studies
- Track record of supporting regulatory submissions
- Certification/training in specialized areas (e.g. DABT or regulatory toxicology workshops).
- PhD is essential.
