The
"Group General Manager, Product"
will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's product and data strategy, ensuring the continued expansion of data sources, development, and introduction of innovative products that meet customer needs, drive business growth, and strengthen the company's competitive edge in the market.

This role involves overseeing product management teams for
Fraud & Identity Solutions
and
Commercial Credit Management Solutions
, as well as the
Data Enrichment
team – mentoring and guiding them to deliver high-quality products while aligning data and product strategy with broader business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

a) Strategic Leadership & Product Vision

  • Define and communicate the overarching data and product vision, strategy, and roadmap, leveraging inputs from customers/ industry, macro trends from the industry, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and business priorities.
  • Take full ownership of prioritizing and executing the data and product roadmap, balancing short-term needs with long-term product strategies to drive business growth.
  • Drive the development of new and innovative products and enhance existing products to maximize revenue impact and profitability, ensuring that data and products strengthen the competitive position of the company.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging creativity, experimentation, and risk-taking in the product development process.

b) Team Management & Mentoring

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of high-performing product managers
  • Provide coaching and professional development to the team, empowering them to take ownership of product initiatives while continuously improving their skill sets
  • Foster an environment of collaboration, trust, and accountability, ensuring that product managers work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Technology, Data Analytics, Customer Service, and Operations.

c) Product Execution

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to post-launch monitoring, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Oversee the budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for product development to meet timelines and financial goals.
  • Develop pricing strategies, product bundling, and go-to-market approaches to maximize customer value and revenue across product lines.
  • Leverage data analytics, customer feedback, and key performance metrics to assess the success of products, identify optimization opportunities, and implement necessary adjustments to improve performance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build detailed business cases and conduct ROI analyses for new products or product enhancements.
  • Cultivate a strong collaborative culture across departments, ensuring constant communication and resource sharing to drive product success.
  • Lead product teams through product planning, roadmap reviews, and product performance evaluations, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.

d) Market Intelligence & Research

  • Continuously monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs to stay ahead of market developments and identify new product opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to ensure the product portfolio remains competitive and aligned with customer demands.
  • Translate market insights into actionable plans, adjusting the product strategy and roadmap to meet changing market conditions and customer expectations.

e) Product Marketing & Positioning

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop and refine the product value proposition and messaging, ensuring effective product positioning in the market.
  • Support lead generation and customer acquisition by co-developing marketing collateral, sales enablement tools, and campaigns to drive product adoption and performance.
  • Assist in creating compelling product narratives that resonate with target customers, working with Sales and Marketing to drive product awareness and lead conversion.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Product Management, or a related discipline
  • 15+ years of end-to-end experience in a product management role comprising development, launch, and commercialization, gained at credit bureaus, Fintechs, Start-ups, high-growth companies, and banks.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering quality products at compressed timelines
  • Proven record in developing new, innovative product verticals with meaningful revenue and profit contribution (10-15% of total revenues annually), from original concepts to launch
  • Proven record in developing products with clear value propositions for potential clients, and generates further competitive advantage for the company
  • Deep experience in identifying data sets critical for the short and long-term success of a business, and how they can be acquired at reasonable costs and at scale
  • Resourceful and able to come up with solutions to work through processes and ambiguity
  • Able to influence functional peers to deliver new and improved product solutions
  • Able to produce high-quality outputs using data and insights
  • Able to coordinate activities and project manage with cross-functional project teams
  • Has strong execution, market, and product positioning skills
