Job Purpose
The Trade Execution Executive will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of physical grain shipments, ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and logistical requirements. This role requires close coordination with traders, counterparties, logistics providers, inspection agencies, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery of cargoes.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare, verify, and manage all
import documentation
, including import permits, GMO certifications, and other statutory requirements. - Ensure all shipping and customs documents are accurate, compliant, and submitted within deadlines.
- Liaise with relevant authorities and inspection agencies to obtain and maintain valid
GMO and import certifications

Shipping & Logistics Coordination
- Monitor and coordinate
vessel nominations
, shipment schedules, and logistics arrangements from load port to discharge port. - Follow up closely with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and agents to ensure timely vessel arrivals and cargo delivery.
- Oversee
distribution logistics
to final destinations, including coordination with local warehouses, transporters, and receivers.
Contract Execution & Administration
- Review and execute contracts in line with
FOSFA
,
GAFTA
, and
ANEC
terms and conditions. - Manage contract amendments, documentation flow, and invoicing in coordination with trading, finance, and counterparties.
- Track and report on execution progress, shipment status, and outstanding obligations under each contract.
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain close communication with suppliers, buyers, inspection companies, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the execution process.
- Handle claims, discrepancies, or disputes in accordance with contract terms and company policy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in
grain trade execution or operations
within a trading house, agri-commodities company, or related logistics role. - Strong working knowledge of
FOSFA
,
GAFTA
, or
ANEC
contracts and international trade documentation. - Experience handling
GMO certification, import permits, and import documentation
for agricultural commodities. - Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin required.
