We are partnering with a leading player in the food ingredients industry to hire a Vice President, Operations based in Guangzhou. This pivotal role carries direct responsibility over three manufacturing sites in China - including one at greenfield stage - and acts as an advisor to additional factories globally, with occasional travel to Africa expected.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP, Operations will drive operational excellence, innovation, and strategic growth across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and logistics. The company is targeting an IPO in the next three to five years, and this position will include equity participation alongside base salary and bonus. It is designed for a high-potential leader with the ambition and capability to progress into a future COO role, ultimately expanding responsibilities to Procurement, HR, and Administration.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring strong operational leadership experience from the food manufacturing sector, with backgrounds in flavors and seasonings highly regarded. We are open to candidates currently based outside China who possess the right skillsets, and are open to relocating to Guangzhou.
