Role Overview:
· Develop and communicate a indirect procurement team business plan;
· Establish, communicate and implement long-term goals for the department in order to promote effectiveness and efficiency
· Serve as the primary contact for indirect procurement team related questions, training, policy and procedure interpretation and alignment by all departments.
· Support team on oversee contract development and administration.
· Manage current procurement policies, procedures and programs with a focus on their ability to enhance organizational value and efficiency;
· Meet regularly with respective departments regarding procurement for their understanding and/or recommendations to enhance policies, procedures and develop, communicate and implement new/revised policies, procedures and programs as needed.
· Understand market trends and apply appropriate strategies to ensure continuous supply of services
Ideal Profile:
- Prior experience of working in Indirect Procurement function within centralized organizations, team leader experience is a must
- High degree of knowledge and understanding of category management, such as : facility, service, IT, sales& marketing etc.
- Skillful on long term strategy partnership development with vendors, good communication skills
- Candidate must have proven team management experience, for local Chinese candidate only
- Prefer candidate from FMCG industry background
