Application Engineering Manager
Seco Tools is one of the world's largest providers of comprehensive metal cutting solutions for milling, stationary tools, hole making and tooling systems. For Seco Tools China, our largest unit in the sales region Asia Pacific, we are now looking for an energizing leader with extensive business experience and a passion for customers, sales and the desire to develop a world class Application Engineer team.

management

  • Cooperate and support sales team and implement the sales strategy with objectives for direct customers and distributors
  • Drives and executes the business plan to ensure delivery high-performance technical support and service for Sales team and distributors
  • Stick to the sales plan for new products set up at the Market level in order to achieve the group's objectives.
  • Lead segment engineering team to Develop new business of segment through component solution application project;
  • Responsible for ensuring targets and objectives are clearly defined and set for PM Engineers and Segment Application Engineers
  • Monitor the deployment of on focus products, new products and segment through an annual plan.
  • Identify and promote opportunities for products/technical service in the local market or related segment
  • Prepare and facilitate the launch technical meetings.
  • Participate the Evaluate and analyze process of SECO products and establish the action plan.
  • Present product and opportunity results to the Market Sales Manager
  • Analyze KPI's in order to verify the achievement of objectives.

Leadership

  • Manage the team: Supervise and coordinate the team based on the measurement of the performance of goals and KPIs
  • Develop the team: Ensure a work environment that fosters initiative, creativity and innovation.
  • Manage the team's continuous improvement plans, set progress objectives, verify their achievement. Develop versatility in the department and monitor the development of employees' skills.
  • Communicate: Provide information to employees of the department (objectives and commercial results, HR information, company/group information, etc.) Escalate the information to the right stakeholders within the allotted time. Alert on the risks identified and the problems encountered according to the defined processes

Your profile
We are looking for someone with preferably related experience and a track record of running engineering in an organization. You have a university degree or similar higher education, relevant for the position and experience related to our industry is beneficial. As we operate in an international setting, you need good communication skills in English.

We expect you to have the passion being with customers, distributors and our sales teams across the country and we also value your methodical and analytical way of working, in combination with a strategic and quality-oriented mindset.
