Key Accountabilities:
- For active & upcoming tenders in the pipeline, engage with KAM / general account owners to understand their customers' supply chain challenges, pain points, and business objectives
- Analyse data provided from active tenders, or data gathered from BCO account owners to identify opportunities for cost/ service optimisation, & additional services
- Create value proposition for active & upcoming tenders in the pipeline
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including commercial, operations, and technology teams across APAC and other regions to ensure existing best practice capabilities & solutions are leveraged for general & key account tenders
- Identify & analyse trends in tender requests, tender outcomes, and from account owners for areas to improve existing capability offerings, and new offerings in the market
- Identify, source suppliers for new service requests and develop business case
- Ensure commercial offerings for solutions are in line with market & DP World profitability expectations
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and internal teams to enhance solution adoption
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 5 - 8 years' experience in contract management and tender processes, preferably in the logistics or shipping industry
- In-depth knowledge of contract management principles, procurement strategies, and legal frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in managing and negotiating contracts, including vendor and customer contracts
- Proficiency in analysing tender documents, preparing bid responses, and managing the entire tender process
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations, including an awareness of industry-specific challenges and opportunities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders
