The Senior Account Associate will play a critical support role within the China RMA Account Team, enabling Account Managers to focus on strategic client engagement and revenue generation. This role will contribute across the sales lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence and delivering a seamless customer experience. The Senior Account Associate will collaborate closely with Account Director, Account Managers, Order management and other internal stakeholders to maintain a healthy book of business and support the team's commercial success. The role also includes managing a portfolio of low-medium complexity customers.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist in renewal, recontacting and bidding processes to support billing, retention, and client requests.
  • Support Account Managers in progressing opportunities and winning deals.
  • Assist in executing key sales and retention campaigns, including tracking progress and coordinating internal processes.
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis. research required information about the industry, domain, and target personas to support strategic planning and pipeline development, drive revenue growth.
  • Prepare client and internal reporting, including summarizing insights and performance metrics.
  • Support the annual price increase process by ensuring accurate client data and timely communication.
  • Monitor and resolve pending installs and billing blocks to maintain a clean book of business.
  • Liaise with Account managers and Customer Success Managers to assess account health and identify potential risks to retention.
  • Leverage senior team members for learning, guidance, and professional development.
  • Ensure all client administrative tasks are fulfilled. Drive data and documentation accuracy across the team.

Skills And Experience Required

  • Native-level proficiency in Mandarin; business-level English is essential (both verbal and written).
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2–4 years of experience in financial services, ideally in a client-facing or commercial role.
  • General understanding of financial markets and how professionals use market data.
  • Sales mindset and commercial awareness are a strong advantage.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel is required. Familiarity with Salesforce (CRM) is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively, and meet deadlines.
  • Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
