Core Responsibilities
- Business Development & Wholesale
· Channel Development: Proactively identify, engage, and sign new domestic and international wholesale clients (including department stores, boutiques, multi-brand retailers, online distribution platforms, etc.).
· Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and deepen relationships with existing core wholesale partners, ensuring customer satisfaction and business renewal rates.
· Sales Target Achievement: Develop and execute sales plans to ensure meeting or exceeding established sales and collection targets.
· Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research, analyze competitor activities, consumer trends, and channel shifts to provide data-driven support for product development and sales strategies.
- Brand Licensing
· Licensing Strategy Support: Assist in developing the company's brand licensing strategy, identifying licensing opportunities in specific product categories (e.g., footwear, accessories, home textiles, children's wear) or geographic markets.
· Potential Licensee Development: Source, screen, and evaluate potential licensing partners, ensuring their production capabilities, brand alignment, and market channels match company requirements.
· Licensing Negotiation: Lead or participate in negotiations for brand licensing agreements, covering key terms such as guarantees, royalty rates, contract duration, sales reporting, and audit rights.
· Partnership Management: Manage relationships with existing licensees, overseeing their product design, quality, marketing, and sales performance to ensure consistent brand standards.
Requirements
· Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in business development, wholesale sales, or brand licensing within the apparel, fashion, or consumer goods industry.
· An established network of wholesale contacts (domestic or international) or brand licensing partners is preferred.
· Exceptional negotiation and communication skills: Ability to confidently conduct business negotiations with partners at all levels.
· Sharp business acumen: Strong capabilities in market analysis, financial assessment, and strategic planning.
· Results-driven: A proven track record demonstrating the ability to achieve sales targets.
· Project management skills: Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and drive them from initiation to completion.
