Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance Leadership
- Own and manage compliance programs for RoHS, REACH, PFAS, and similar certifications.
- Stay fully updated on evolving global regulatory requirements and proactively integrate them into company processes.
Certification Database & Audit Support
- Provide global ARC support for certification databases, including gap analysis, audit preparation, and query resolution.
- Investigate and report on the current state of compliance, leveraging existing documentation
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with SQE (Supplier Quality Engineering) and other teams to close compliance gaps, including obtaining certifications from suppliers.
- Coordinate across modalities to ensure consistent and coherent documentation systems.
Compliance Reporting & Tools
- Gain necessary tools and system access to adequately report compliance status.
- Develop and maintain standard work procedures for engineering compliance management
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, product stewardship, or technical engineering roles.
- Proven track record managing global compliance programs (RoHS, REACH, PFAS, etc.).
Technical Skills
- Deep knowledge of international environmental and safety regulations (RoHS, REACH, PFAS, WEEE, etc.).
- Experience with certification databases, compliance audits, and gap analysis.
- Strong understanding of supplier certification processes and regulatory documentation systems.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across global teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to assume ownership and drive compliance initiatives independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in electronics, manufacturing, or materials industries.
- Familiarity with GEHC systems or similar compliance management tools.
- Experience developing standard work and compliance frameworks.
