Product PR Specialist/Manager (North America market)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement PR strategies tailored to specific product lines in North America, ensuring consistent and cohesive messaging across all channels.

  • Monitor media and online conversations to identify emerging issues and respond with effective, transparent communication.

  • Actively engage with online communities and forums (e.g., Reddit, Twitter, Facebook groups) to build brand presence and credibility.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and KOCs.

  • Prepare press releases, media kits, and visual assets to support new product launches and PR campaigns.

  • Support planning and execution of trade shows and PR events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in PR, with a focus on global, preferably within tech, consumer electronics, or related industries.

  • U.S. cultural fluency, experience studying or working in the U.S. is a plus

  • Strong understanding of Reddit will be preferred.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • This role is based in Shenzhen

Brand PR Manager (North America market)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of PR strategies that align with Insta360's business objectives and brand vision in North America.

  • Manage relationships with media partners, journalists, and external PR agencies.

  • Analyze PR campaign performance, delivering detailed reports and actionable insights to continuously improve communications.

  • Drive thought leadership initiatives for the founder and senior management team, including securing interviews and awards, forum participation, and keynote opportunities in local market.

  • Lead the creation of brand narratives, product storytelling, technology explainers, and user case studies/Think Bold Fund. Optimize multi-platform content distribution strategies to maximize reach and engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of PR experience, preferably in global roles within tech, consumer electronics, or related industries. Exceptional candidates with less experience may also be considered.

  • Strong cultural fluency in the U.S.; study or work experience in the U.S. is a plus.

  • Proven expertise in crisis communication and reputation management.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Based in Shenzhen; open to U.S. locations for candidates with valid U.S. work authorization.

  • Background in video production or videography is a plus.
