Major Tasks And Responsibilities Of Position
- Perform periodic maintenance inspections execution (daily, shutdown and turnaround) according to international and national inspection standards and non-destructive test (NDT) standards
- Prepare for asset health-check / Reliability Inspection report and assist in repair, and modification to ensure plant running in a safe and reliable way
- Ensure progressive histories are maintained within specified Covestro databases and specified by Covestro guidelines
- Determine the most appropriate NDT techniques and applications to effectively and efficiently identify and quantify degradation mechanisms;
- Manage technical performance of NDT service provider (such as heat exchanger tubing inspection, drone etc.
- Support government legal inspection in terms of static equipment management

In recent year, ageing challenges of CISS static asset have become more and more obvious after being on average 20 years in service. Each static asset failure can lead to severe safety consequence and tremendous production loss. In addition, government published more and more mechanical integrity relevant regulation and upgraded the existing regulations to enhance old facility managements. So static equipment health check and management is more and more critical for safety, reliability and license to operation.

Qualification Requirements (Education & Work Experience)
- M.S. or above, major in Chemical Process Equipment and with 2 years of industrial experience;
- ANST Level II or equivalent level of general knowledge in at least three of following NDE methods: PT, MT, RT, ET, UT, VT;
- Ability to plan, prioritize and implement multiple concurrent activities
- Ability to work well with people in a multiple disciplinary team.
- Good oral and written English skills
- Preferred additional qualifications: basic knowledge of design and welding
