We are currently recruiting for a Sales Representative to join our SSL Sales/Commercial team. You will be joining a professional and international team with extensive knowledge of the industry. Working closely with our customers and vendors, you will provide customers with excellent service. Your expertise ensures that we will continue to set the industry benchmark for seamless and efficient operations.
Stolt Tank Containers (STC) is a leading provider of door-to-door transportation services for bulk- liquid chemicals and food-grade products. With a fleet of more than 45,000 tank containers, STC is the only operator with its own worldwide network of 22 owned and joint venture depots.

What You Will Be Doing
As Sales Representative, North China, you will Identify, contact and develop new customer relationships in the area of your responsibility, effectively coordinating the efforts of yourself with pricing and service strategy for customers in your review. Ensure alignment with SSL's strategy of growth and where possible, profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, contact, nurture and expand customer relationships within your area of responsibility.
 - Develop, review, maintain and execute account plans for select key SSL customers. Assist in creation of quotes as necessary.
 - Regularly monitor and report on competitor activities in your area of responsibility and develop competitive advantage models to benefit.
 
Qualifications
- College / University degree preferred or suitable industry experience.
 - Logistic/transportation knowledge with minimum 5 years experience in tank container industry, such as import export declarations or package warehouse rail transportation.
 - Familiar with bulk liquid market.
 - Familiar with the domestic shipping market.
 - Strong international experience and awareness of cultures
 - Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
 - Must be ethical, organized and able to prioritize and set goals.
 - Common sense and problem solving skills required.
 - Self starter, able to work from remote location without oversight for periods of time, able to determine and define priorities for sales contact / activity.
 - Fluent English and Mandarin required.
 - Excellent at office software: PowerPoint/Excel/Word/Outlook.
