该职位来源于猎聘 About our Company : Cloud Nine Textiles(Shanghai)Co.,Ltd based in Shanghai, is a prominent company in the business of Home Textiles, is importer in USA doing Home Textiles .We are now seeking a talented merchandiser to join our team with a focus on Home Textiles Seasoned Merchandising Manager to lead the a department in Shanghai, managing end-to-end merchandising operations and ensuring seamless coordination with the New Jersey team. The role focuses on vendor management, production oversight, and driving operational excellence in a competitive retail environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage 8–10 merchandising staff, ensuring guidance, support, and performance management
  • Collaborate closely with New Jersey, Shanghai sourcing, QC, and shipping teams
  • Maintain daily production updates and deliver weekly reports to the New Jersey team
  • Build and sustain strong factory relationships; identify and address underperforming vendors
  • Oversee product development, sample approvals, color matching, and timely execution
  • Track order production, shipping plans, and testing/sample approvals to minimize failures and ensure on-time deliveries
  • Attend trade fairs and exhibitions in China and abroad to explore new products and vendors
  • Support factories to meet production timelines and quality standards
  • Maintain expertise in fabrics, hard goods, production processes, color matching, and compliance
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required Key Attributes

  • Knowledge of production timelines, supply chain, and logistics
  • Understanding of China manufacturing capabilities and U.S. retail compliance Experience & Skills
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years in merchandising; exposure to U.S. retail (Walmart,Target, Costco, Dollar General) preferred
  • Language: Mandarin proficiency is a plus
  • Core Skills: o Vendor management and negotiation o Supply chain and production oversight o Team leadership and performance management o Proactive problem-solving and operational excellence
  • Preferred: Prior experience with major U.S. retailers and understanding of U.S. retail customer expectations
