Job Summary
The downstream systems lead is responsible for leading the technical design and end-to-end implementation of the integration platform supporting various data feeds and systems. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-geo teams, cross-functional teams, and cross-systems teams to ensure the integrity, security, and performance of the company's downstream systems (e.g. local and group reporting like IFRS17 ETL, financial analysis and reporting platforms, etc.) throughout the system lifecycle.

Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Request Analysis & Development:

Independently author request from users, build reports logic, development of certain report base on AWS EMR system, Excel and PowerBI.

  • Own the MI modules within the system:

–Functional

– Logic

–Performance

– Prior MI Experience Required

  • Defect data & report analysis: Use Jira to accurately describe, localize, and retrospect issues, driving developers to

close them within sprint.

  • Report delivery: Deliver reports that satisfy both internal user and external user regulatory usage and fit for requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Extract data per requests and generate report per ad-hoc requests.
  • Experience and Background
  • Experience: 1-5 years of BI experience, proficient in writing designs, cases, and reports; familiar with the ETL &

Big Data Analysis processes.

  • Technical Skills: Good at SQL logic, PowerBI function, EMR step function independently. Better to have automation scripts of Python, PowerShell, Linux commands. IT or business working experience is must.
  • English reading & writing: Can communicate in English including read English requirements docs, participate in

English meetings to discuss requirements or report solution with BA, and deliver English reports.
