Your role
We are seeking a highly motivated Quantitative Developer to join our algorithmic trading team. This role involves close collaboration with both quantitative researchers and software engineers to implement and maintain predictive signals within our market signal stream publishing system.
Your team
You will be working in the Global Markets Quantitative Analytics and Development team.
- Collaborate with quants and developers to evolve and refine our execution algorithms.
- Develop a deep understanding of the current execution framework and its constraints.
- Navigate and contribute to a complex codebase with precision and care.
- Identify and implement improvements to code efficiency while maintaining correctness and robustness.
- Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and reliability in a production trading environment.
Your expertise
- 2+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
- Experience with C++ and/or Python is a strong plus.
- Prior experience in algorithmic trading or financial systems development is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to working with complex systems.
- Demonstrated drive to solve problems and optimize performance within existing architectural constraints.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
