About This Role
As an assistant intern, you will become a member of a cross functional team responsible for setting up test environments, managing assets and equipment, planning and managing test lines, and executing tests. Our work emphasizes lean and agile methods. Continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing are part of the daily work of our cross functional development team.

About PDU Radio
The Wireless Product Development Unit (PDU Radio) is responsible for the end-to-end R&D of Ericsson's wireless products and solutions. PDU Radio is a global organization under the Development Unit Networks (DNEW), comprising approximately 4,000 engineers and developers across nine locations in Canada, China, and Sweden, driving Ericsson's sustained market leadership in the wireless domain, particularly in 5G.

About Radio Products China
China Wireless Products is fully responsible for the maintenance of wireless products developed for China from the F0 phase onwards. We have about 1,000 engineers and developers, mainly collaborating between Beijing and Chengdu, driving leadership in massive MIMO, classic, and indoor wireless technologies as well as product competitiveness in hardware, software, and enclosures through early concept studies, product systemization, solution design, integration and verification, product introduction, and maintenance. We are known for our excellence in execution, sense of responsibility, and a culture of speaking up. Responsibilities
As an Assistant intern in Ericsson China Wireless Products, your responsibilities include:

  • Assist in organizing asset management and consumables management.
  • Participate in the planning and management of laboratory testing lines.
  • Participate in the construction of testing lines and configuration of base stations.
  • Participate in product testing and execution.
  • Perform troubleshooting and customer support.
  • Drive continuous improvement of products and processes.
  • Develop skills in the field of technology.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or undergraduate degrees in electronic engineering, communication, computer science, management, or related information technology fields (If have experience in laboratory management and asset management, major can be relaxed and there are no requirements).
  • Experience in asset management and laboratory management is preferred.
  • Possess a good work attitude and qualities of perseverance and hard work.
  • Knowledge of baseband and RF in wireless products is preferred.
  • Fluent English oral and written communication skills.
  • Focus on delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
