About the Role
The role involves developing, implementing, and reviewing compensation and benefits strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and market practices in Greater China and APAC regions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and review compensation and benefits strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and market practices in Greater China and APAC regions.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to ensure our C&B packages remain competitive and attractive to talent.
- Create and maintain C&B policies and procedures that comply with local labor laws and regulations while supporting Venchi's culture and values.
- Prepare and manage the annual C&B budget for Mainland China, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with the company's financial goals.
- Monitor budget performance and provide regular reports to Finance/Management Team.
- Oversee the payroll process in Mainland China, ensuring accuracy, timely payment, and compliance with local regulations.
- Coordinate with HR vendors to resolve any payroll-related issues and continuously improve payroll efficiency and accuracy.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret C&B data to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Generate regular reports on compensation trends, benefit utilization, and other relevant metrics.
- Manage relationships with HR vendors, including payroll service provider to ensure they deliver high-quality services and meet the company's requirements.
- Maintain HR system Workday, ER related communication documents preparation and support HR operations (onboarding, probation reviews, contract renewals, offboarding).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above
- >5 years of payroll experience and >3 years in C&B management, preferably in the retail industry, with a focus on Greater China. APAC regions is a plus.
- Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.

- Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations in Greater China and APAC regions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to design effective C&B solutions.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- High proficiency in English (both written and verbal) to effectively communicate with colleagues and vendors across the region.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
