Key Responsibilities

  • Ecommerce Network/distributors planning SOP (Overall ecom network picture, Sales OP process and governance etc.)
  • Business intelligence: Digital analysis/business insight to support whole ecommerce growth and revenue performance with clear action plan KPI/status monitoring and reviewing:

  • Providing data-driven insights for decision-making.

  • Monitor key operational metrics in real time
  • Identify bottlenecks through data analysis and implement targeted optimization strategies.

  • Commercial efficiency: Develop standardized digital operational procedures to formalize TP service partner efficiency, Ecom selective distribution principle, Store efficiency and monitoring etc.

  • Ecom P&L and financial monitoring: Budget and investment planning, Net margin/ Revenue monitoring and achievement

Multi-Platform Operations Coordination and Resource Allocation

  • Lead operations across diverse e-commerce platforms (e.g., Tmall, , Douyin E-commerce), designing platform-specific strategies to optimize resource allocation and achieve sales targets.
  • Coordinate cross-platform resources (e.g., traffic distribution, promotion scheduling, customer service) to eliminate internal competition and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Track emerging channels (e.g., social commerce, live-streaming commerce), evaluate viability, and launch pilot projects to capture market opportunities.

Operations Team Development and Performance Management

  • Build a specialized ecom operations team (covering planning, data analysis, campaign execution, etc.), defining clear roles, KPIs, and collaboration frameworks.
  • Design training programs to enhance team capabilities through case studies and skill-building workshops, cultivating cross-functional e-commerce talent.
  • Establish a performance evaluation system centered on metrics like GMV, conversion rate, and ROI, conducting regular reviews to optimize incentive structures.

Risk Management and Compliance Operations

  • Implement a risk early-warning system to monitor anomalies (e.g., order irregularities, system outages, surge in complaints), develop contingency plans, and ensure rapid incident response.
  • Ensure all operations comply with platform rules (e.g., Tmall policies, advertising regulations) and industry standards, mitigating compliance risks and safeguarding brand reputation.

Technical and System Support for Operations

  • Spearhead the selection, implementation, and iteration of e-commerce systems (ERP, CRM, OMS, etc.), driving functionality upgrades to align with business needs and automate operational processes.
  • Integrate data interfaces across systems to enable real-time synchronization of order, inventory, and financial data.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to resolve system failures and technical issues, ensuring 24/7 platform stability.

Qualification

  • Educational Background and Professional Knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferred majors: E-commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, etc.
  • Work Experience
  • 10+ years of working experience, 6+ years e-commerce experience, including 3+ years in team management; proven track record of leading teams to achieve sales growth.
  • Experience in managing multi-platform with different business mode operations (e.g., domestic e-commerce, cross-border e-commerce, direct to consumer, distributor operation);
  • Priority for those have both experience of ecom revenue planning role(Ecom finance BP/Ecom TMKT/Digital Revenue optimization/Planning)
  • Core Competencies
  • Data Analysis: Proficient in Excel and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI); ability to identify business issues through data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Project Management: Strong cross-departmental collaboration skills; capable of driving complex projects across teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Innovation & Adaptability: Keen insight into industry trends; ability to quickly respond to market changes and adjust strategies flexibly.
  • Leadership and Soft Skills
  • Excellent team management and leadership; expertise in team motivation, talent development, and succession planning.

  • High sense of responsibility and stress tolerance; strategic mindset with the ability to formulate clear strategies and drive execution in complex scenarios.
  • Additional Requirements
  • Familiarity with national e-commerce laws/regulations and platform compliance policies; ability to predict and mitigate risks.
  • Fluent English; priority for cross-border e-commerce experience.
