About This Role:
As a PCB Developer at Ericsson, you will be part of a cross-functional hardware development team responsible for designing and optimizing high-performance RF and digital circuit boards for Ericsson's radio products. This position offers the opportunity to engage in the full product lifecycle—from concept and requirement analysis to design, verification, and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with hardware, mechanical, thermal, and process engineers, contributing to innovative, cost-effective, and high-quality designs that power Ericsson's next-generation radio systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the full PCB design workflow, including requirement analysis, solution study, schematic/layout design, verification testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Develop and optimize high-speed, high-density RF and digital circuit boards, ensuring signal integrity, power efficiency, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
- Support cost and process optimization by reducing PCB layer counts and improving routing and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, mechanical, thermal, process) to ensure design efficiency and integration.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement, competence development, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Essential Qualifications
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering, or related fields.
- Solid knowledge of PCB design principles, including signal integrity, impedance control, and EMI/EMC considerations.
- Experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics, or equivalent).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Good teamwork and communication abilities, with an eagerness to learn and collaborate across disciplines.
