Position Summary:
The position is responsible for the procurement and operation in project logistics activities including import/export, shipping, local transportation, warehousing, forwarding, and customs services, supporting global project execution & bidding as required, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for project shipment, pricing and ship chartering for project cargo
- Managing our local shipping sourcing and integration.
- Engage in contract negotiations with logistics suppliers and sub-contractors
- Responsible for completing projects on time and in coordination with the outsourced supplier
- Responsible for governance of heavy lift and transport of project cargos.
- Support product development for heavy lift and transport along key trade lanes (E.g. Middle East and Latin America).
- Responsible for supporting regional sales with heavy lift and transport proposals.
- Responsible for the coordination of cross functional team members and required project materials
- Assist sales and BD for RFQ & Bidding quotation, ensuring the proper strategy is formulated and any risks are identified
- Other tasks as required
Job Requirements
- Academic Qualifications :
- University Graduates, preferably major in Logistics
Experiences/Knowledge:
- Over 10 years' management experience of Shipping, Chartering & Foreign trade
- Performance of freight and related services
- Familiar with Shipment Modes/Types
- Knowledge of Trade net Declaration for Import & Export, INCOTERMS
- Understanding of L/C Terms & Bank Negotiation, etc.
Ability/Skills:
- Fluent in Chinese and English
- Microsoft Office Skills (email, excel, ppt, etc.)
- People management & organizational skills (prioritize, plan, assign and control)
- Interpersonal & Communication Skills
Problem solving ability
Attitude:
- Matured in outlook and thinking process
- Positive with a Can-Do attitude
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Strong sense of responsibility, driven and self-motivated
- Independent and ability to work under tight timelines
