- The APAC Alpha Product Manager is focused on the identification of good quality, lower cost product protection solutions that may become part of the Alpha solutions portfolio across APAC region, with specific emphasis on the Australian and Japanese markets.
- Familiar with CKP Alpha product family, recognize customer requirements and recommend suitable Alpha solutions.
- Demonstrate technology competence, market application knowledge, marketing leadership, strong business acumen, and effective interpersonal skills.
- Work with Director of Global Product Management and the local sales teams to develop and implement effective product line and marketing strategies and product development roadmaps to increase market share and grow into new markets. Maintain an active focus and interface with market "drivers" (technologies and end user needs) staying on top of trends that will result in a continuous proactive market-driven approach.
- Work with Global Product Manager to take care of the healthiness of the assigned product line (i.e. sku rationalization/obsolescence, price positioning and profit analysis, sku system maintenance, and inventory turn metrics).
- Lead project development process.
Must have the ability to develop strong team relationships with cross functional New Product Development team.
- Manage related beta site/prototype product development programs, including effectively communicating product features and benefits to target audience.
- Manage the maintenance of a competitive intelligence database. Complete related market and competition analysis reports as required. This includes user research, market trends, and evaluating product performance.
- Cross-functional Collaboration – work with design, engineering, QA, and marketing teams to bring features to market
- Customer Advocate – understand the customer pain points and relay insights to the Product Team. Monitor user feedback.
- In conjunction with Marketing team, Develop and implement product launch activities, including product positioning, marketing materials, pricing, packaging, launch budgets, web site content, application notes etc.
- Travel as required to meet with customers, suppliers, demonstrate products, set up beta sites, work at trade shows/conferences and stay in tune with the market approximately.50% travel. 岗位要求:
- Degree from a recognized educational institution. Specializing in Product Management would be a plus.
- 5+ years business experience with 2+ years Product Manager experience in MNC, preferably in the retail electronic article surveillance, RFID label, electronic accessory related industry.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills in English, preferably Mandrian.
- Experience in developing marketing/business strategies, plans and programs with specific experience in: product development, project management, business case development, and cross-functional interactions.
- Well-developed strategic thinking, problem solving, decision-making skills with an ability to analyze complex concepts and draw implications.
- Excellent communication skills that facilitate working with a variety of teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Demonstrated success in translating customer requirements into new product offerings.
- A proactive work style takes initiative to improve products, proactively communicates with teams, follows up on issues, and brings deliverables to completion.
- Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills
