Job Description
- Implementation of Operational Strategies that ensure all KPIs are met
- Automation Strategies
- P&L Management from staffing to all other variable costs
- Talent management and development
- Ensuring Factory Safety and compliance
- Language skills: MUST be Fluent in Mandarin.
- Operational Excellence: Lead, mentor, and empower a diverse team of professionals to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and enhance overall operational excellence.
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate closely with the executive team to define and execute the company's strategic vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Resource Management: Effectively manage resources, budgets, and timelines to achieve operational goals and drive profitability.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain stringent quality control measures to ensure the good product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Innovation: Drive innovation in manufacturing processes and technologies, keeping the company at the forefront of the industry.
- Supply Chain Management: Oversee supply chain activities, ensuring a seamless flow of materials and components to meet production demands.
- Safety and Compliance: Prioritize and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance throughout the manufacturing operations.
- Team Development: Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, employee development, and cross-functional collaboration.
The Successful Applicant
- Candidate should have extensive experience in garment manufacturing and its processes, P&L management, Quality Assurance, and Import and Export standard procedures, and implementing Lean manufacturing methods.
- They must be resilient, flexible, results oriented and values centred.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills (English), Leadership skills, mentoring and team building skills, problem solving skills, and has a "hands on" approach to work.
- They must have a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Factory manager having lead 2,000-3,000 employees. University degree of manufacturing. Industrial engineering, o any Business Course.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; MBA preferred.
- A minimum of 20 years of experience in advanced manufacturing operations, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence, innovation, and growth within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
