Role and responsibilities:
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, fast-learning technical software engineer who enjoys problem solving and working with external customers to join our growing APAC Professional Services team to deliver solutions using BIOVIA in-house products for the life science and material science industry. We are looking for someone who is creative, can solve complex, often challenging technical problems and can shape customer focused solutions.
Qualifications:
You will have a passion for learning new and emerging technologies and a solid technical background including:
Demonstrable knowledge and proficiency in .NET and cloud
- SQL and database knowledge (preferably Oracle)
 - Scripting knowledge (preferably Python)
 - Previous experience in Laboratory Processes, Lab informatics solutions, QA/QC, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11 is advantageous
 - A familiarity with BIOVIA OneLab, Pipeline Pilot, etc is advantageous, but not required
 - Any knowledge and experience in ELN, LIMS, CDS, SDMS, etc is appreciated.

 - A scientific background is advantageous
 - Ensures BIOVIA' interests are addressed by working closely with Professional Services Leadership, Project Managers, Operations and other support organisations ensuring overall success of the project(s).
 - Assists in the creation of proposals and estimates for Professional Service projects from project extensions with existing customers to working on new proposals with Sales, Presales and Solutions Architects.
