Role Overview:

As the Human Resources Director of a leading luxury brand, you will serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, driving HR initiatives that align with the brand's global vision and local market dynamics. You will lead the full spectrum of HR functions while ensuring seamless collaboration with global HR teams across regions. This role demands a high level of cultural sensitivity, strategic agility, and a deep understanding of the luxury retail landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that support business growth, brand positioning, and organizational excellence.
  • Partner with global HR counterparts to ensure alignment of policies, talent strategies, and cultural initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.

Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

  • Lead recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent with luxury retail experience.
  • Collaborate with global talent teams to ensure consistent employer branding across markets.
  • Build strong pipelines for key roles and succession planning in alignment with global standards.

Performance & Rewards

  • Design and implement performance management frameworks that reflect brand values and drive excellence.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with global benchmarks.
  • Partner with global Total Rewards teams to harmonize incentive structures and recognition programs.

Learning & Development

  • Champion leadership development and training programs tailored to luxury service standards.
  • Facilitate cross-border learning initiatives and mobility programs in partnership with global L&D teams.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and continuously improve development pathways.

Culture & Engagement

  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture that reflects the brand's heritage and values.
  • Lead employee engagement strategies and internal communications across diverse markets.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador, bridging global brand ethos with local employee experience.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local labor laws and global governance standards.
  • Manage employee relations and mitigate risks through proactive interventions and ethical leadership.
  • Support audits and reporting requirements in collaboration with global HR operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably within luxury, fashion, or high-end retail.
  • Proven track record of working in a matrixed, multinational organization with global HR exposure.
  • Strong understanding of luxury brand culture, customer service excellence, and retail operations.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures and time zones.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, French, Italian) are a plus.
  • Experience with global HRIS systems and data-driven decision-making.
