What You Will Do

  • In new project develop, work for total process strategy, and compare each strategy to find out the optimal one with project team, integrate each process DFM, and design total process.
  • Organize the product design review with manufacture Engineers to provide manufacturing feasibility analysis and DFM to PD and PM, including molding, die, plating, assembly and outsourcing, to optimize and ensure the manufacturing feasibility of the product design.
  • Define flow process for components/finish good with cross function team.
  • As a technical bridge of each manufacture function team.
  • As a contact windows between manufacture team to other technical function team, as Product Design, Quality, etc. include local & oversea team.
  • Analyse product and process issue and deploy improvement.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree at least, graduated in Mechanical or Manufacturing, or Automation or equivalent.
  • At least 3-5 years product design, mold or die design or manufacturing experience.
  • Product design and quality concept to leverage Product / Quality / Manufacturing requirement.
  • Have deep knowledge and work experience to predictive engineering tools, ex. PFMEA, DoE.
  • Have general knowledge and working experience on problem solving procedure and tools, ex. 8D, 5-why, fishbone, etc.
  • Good operate skill with CAD software, UG NX is preferred.
  • Good English communication skill to work with global team, both oral and writing.
  • Good communication skill with cross function team.
  • Good learning ability and willingness to receive and learn new knowledge.
  • Good teamwork, humility, and respect.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Familiar with connector application and performance.
  • Familiar with all manufacture process of connectors.
  • Work experience with Automotive product.
  • Background of product design is preferred.
  • Six sigma GB is preferred
