The HRIS Specialist will ensure HR technology (Workday, payroll systems) enables efficient workflows, data accuracy, and employee self-service across regions.

The individual will work closely with HRBP, HRMs, Workday core team, payroll administration and leadership team.

The ideal candidate shall have technical depth and with adaptability for broader HR support who thrive in dynamic, multi-faceted roles. Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Workday System Management & Optimization
  • System Configuration & Maintenance: Within global guideline, configure and maintain Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence) to align with global and regional HR processes across multiple locations.
  • Data Integrity & Compliance: Ensure data accuracy through regular audits, validation rules, and compliance with GDPR/local regulations. Resolve data discrepancies promptly.
  • Upgrades & Testing: Lead Workday releases, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), patch deployments, and integration enhancements with other systems (e.g., Payroll or other Finance, IT) .
  • Regional HR Process Facilitation
  • Process Standardization: Streamline HR workflows (onboarding, performance management, compensation) across regions using Workday automation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR, IT, Finance, and payroll teams to implement scalable solutions for multi-country operations.
  • Training & User Support
  • End-User Training: Develop and deliver role-based training for HR teams and employees on Workday and local payroll system functionality (e.g., self-service, reporting).
  • Helpdesk Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday-related inquiries, troubleshooting system issues, and maintaining a knowledge base at regional level.
  • Reporting & Analytics
  • Data-Driven Insights: Generate custom reports/dashboards in Workday for metrics like turnover, headcount, and compensation trends, labor cost.
  • Responsible for other regional consolidated reporting.
  • Extended HR Support
  • Payroll & Benefits Backup: Assist with payroll processing, benefits administration, and employment contract management as needed.
  • Project Flexibility: Contribute to HR initiatives such as payroll implementation, enhancement, data migration, compensation benchmarking, or policy updates.
  • Other ad hoc tasks assigned by manager Qualification and Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field. Workday certification preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years in HRIS management, with 2+ years specializing in Workday configuration (HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Workday reporting, security frameworks, and integration tools. Familiarity with other payroll system or similar systems is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Project management, cross functional collaboration, and adaptability in fast paced environments.
  • Fluent in oral and written English for regional support and interaction with global team.
  • Legal Knowledge: Understanding of regional labor laws (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and payroll compliance.

Preferred Qualifications
