- Must hold valid aircraft maintenance license (CAAC or FAA or EASA) Part 66
- Better have EASA Part 66 M9 & M10 training within the last 2 years.
- Better have EWIS training certificate training within the last 2 years.
- Better have SMS and Aviation Regulation training within the last 2 years.
- Better have Suspected Unapproved Parts training within the last 2 years. Experience Requirements
- (3) years in the field of aviation maintenance for complex components such as engine/APU and landing gears including 24 months experience in the specific component maintenance area/workshop.
- Minimum (2) years' experience issuing FAA 8130 or EASA F1 or CAAC 038 for ATA Chapter 32 (Landing Gears)
- Better have (8) years working experience in Landing Gear MRO. (2) years of which is in the field of aviation maintenance including 12 months of practical experience in the specific component area/workshop. Technical Training
- Demonstrate training from the OEM or OEM recognized training organization or an appropriately rated organization.
- Demonstrate having training to an appropriate level for the subject component and able to demonstrate significant experience on the relevant component maintenance. Specific Job Skills
- Have practical knowledge of Maintenance Organisations QMS and associated procedures.
- Possess Human Factor Topics, aviation Legislation, human performance and limitations training
- Knowledge on EWIS
- Demonstrate working knowledge of the organisations capabilities, privileges and limitations (scope of approval, etc.)
- Demonstrate working knowledge of applicable Part M and Part-145 and other relevant regulations.
- Reliability, diligence, and accuracy.
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
- A high sense of the position's responsibility, integrity, behavior, and attitude towards safety.
- Understanding conditions for ensuring continuing airworthiness of aircraft and components.
- Ability to compile and control completed work cards.
- Ability to determine required qualification for task performance.
- Ability to identify and rectify existing and potential unsafe conditions.
- Record, sign and compile maintenance records
- Ability to determine the acceptability of parts to be installed prior to fitment.
- Ability to use, control and be familiar with required tooling and/or equipment.
- Ability to understand Airworthiness Directives & Service Bulletins.
- Knowledge of human factors, human performance, and limitations.
- Demonstrate understanding of DER repairs and OEM repairs.
- Demonstrate understanding of PMA parts.
