The role will be responsible for designing, improving, and managing financial processes that support the credit business and payment solutions. This position will focus on supporting the rollout of new initiatives and projects, ensuring their smooth transition and operation and driving transformational efficiencies and automation across all ventures, while ensuring sufficient controls to mitigate any risk implication. This role reports to the SM, Finance – Process Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the review of business initiatives:
• Develop and optimize financial workflows and system developments of credit business and payment solutions, including e-wallet systems, reconciliation, settlement processes and interest accrauls
• Collaborate with product and tech teams to integrate and maintain e-wallet and credit platform.
• Drive the deployment of processes in local countries from regional accounting
- Continuous Process Improvement:
• Identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities for finance operations
• Conduct workshops to review work practices and identify pain points continually
• Re-design process for better operational efficiency, including adoption of automation tools, and resolve potential control issues
- Compliance and Risk Management:
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to establish internal financial controls to mitigate risks in fund disbursement, loan collections, and payment operations.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards (IFRS 9, CECL, GAAP) and lending regulations.
• Partner with risk and compliance teams to implement fraud prevention measures.
- Stakeholder Management:
• Build trusting relationships and continuous interaction with internal stakeholders, as well as BPO (if required) to ensure high-quality delivery of service and maximum customer satisfaction.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in finance, experience in payment solutions, e-wallet systems, credit business or fintech preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
• Knowledge of payment systems, e-wallet technologies, and loan disbursement & payment reconciliation
• Strong knowledge of loan accounting, regulatory compliance, and financial risk management.
• Able to be proactive in solving problems and developing creative solutions.
• Ability to work cross-functionally.
• Ability to work within tight timeframes, manage multiple priorities and demonstrate flexibility as priorities change.
• Must be fluent in both English and Chinese.
• Familiar with SAP & oracle is a plus.
