Position Summary:
The Regional Head of Contract Logistics is responsible the growth of the product within the responsible geography as set by the global head of product.
Roles & Responsibility:
- The main responsibility is to establish compitencies and capability to drive Contract Logistics within the region
- Recruit, manage and develop key resources in line with business priorities
- Develop & execute the product growth startegy for the region in alignment with the global product head
- Profitable growth and expansion of business footprint through executing Contract Logistics strategy, including business development, customer acquisition, local implementation, tender handling, and alignment with the global Solution Design Center of Excellence (CoE)
- Manage P&L, GP, EBIT ensuring profitability of individual site/ country working closely with local operations team
- Review, negotiate and endorse customer and vendor contracts
- Review and create investment papers for specific investments in key indetified markets
- Identify and create collaboration models including partnerships and JVs to fast track capability development
- Focus on cost-to-serve, asset utilization, customer pipeline, combined KPIs, and regional CL strategy execution
- Lead critical RFQs to ensure the delivery of optimal solutions that meet both customer and internal needs
- Foster collaboration between country and product leaders within PSA BDP to meet customer requirements
- Provide leadership and support for analyzing potential M&A targets as part of the product team.
Job Requirements
Person Specifications / Profile:
- Minimum of 10+ years experience within contract logistics working for a major 3PL with experience in P&L management, Solution Design, Operatins Management
- Experience in managing and working with regional/ global teams
- A people leader who is able to work with ease alongside internal and external stakeholders
- Expereince in handling customers across focus verticals, namely, Life Science Health, Retail, Enterprise Electronics, EV, Chemical verticals
Strong, demonstrable expereince and skills, in 1 or more of the following areas:
Warehusing & Distribution
End to End Supply Chain planning and management
Experience in engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders with a proactive and positive attitude
- Strong personal effectiveness as a team player, change agent and demonstrated perseverance to drive and achieve desired outcomes
- Ability to communicate at senior executive level, both internally and externally
Technical Functional Skills:
- Experience in working with WMS. TMS
- Program Management experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong presentation skills
