- Responsible for HP heater control method research and development (algorithm and PC tool development), heater control methods DOE design and device integration.
- Design DOE to verify hypotheses and record relevant data, generating technology dossier for HP heater fundamentals.
- Understand EE design to collaborate with EE engineers to ensure heating control method integrated in the HP device.
- Understand simulation fundamentals and collaborate with simulation team to incorporate simulation result in concept design.
- Responsible for conducting technology research, competitor analysis and IP landscape analysis to build sound patents for heating system control algorithms.
- Maintain regular contact with numerous internal and external teams/departments to ensure deliverables and end goals are consistent and achievable. EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE ESSENTIAL Experience Required
- Deep knowledge in mathematics, especially control theory.
- Hands on experience and strong track record in coding (C/C++/C#, Python, java, PyTorch etc).
- Experience in AI fundamentals and applications.
- Experience of regulatory compliance requirements for consumer electronic devices.
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
- Control theory application experience needed.
- Knowledge in EE is preferred.
- Heat transfer knowledge and hydraulic knowledge is preferred.
- Simulation experience in thermal and hydraulic is preferred.
- Persistence, attention to detail, rigorous approach is must-to-have.
- Ability to analyse problems and design hands-on experiments to verify and solve problems. Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
- Minimum bachelor's degree in mathematics, Computer Science or Physics, relevant Engineering (Electric engineering or Telecommunication engineering).
- R&D experience in technology led consumer product industries is preferred.
