该职位来源于猎聘 As the piping engineer, this role is responsible for

  • Design and layout creation: To design and create efficient and safe piping systems for various industrial and commercial applications, ensuring optimal flow of fluids, proper pressure management, and compliance with space constraints and overall facility layout.
  • Material and component selection: To select appropriate piping materials, fittings, valves, and other components based on factors such as fluid properties, operating conditions, corrosion resistance, and cost-effectiveness, while adhering to relevant industry standards and codes.
  • Safety and compliance assurance: To ensure that the piping systems meet all applicable safety regulations, codes, and standards, thereby minimizing the risk of accidents, leaks, and environmental hazards, and protecting the health and safety of personnel and the public.
  • Interdisciplinary coordination: To collaborate and coordinate with other engineering disciplines, such as process, mechanical, structural, and electrical engineers, as well as with project managers, contractors, and construction crews, to ensure seamless integration of the piping system with the overall project and facility.
  • Project management and documentation: To manage piping-related aspects of projects, including procurement, construction, and commissioning, and to maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of the piping system design, installation, and modifications for future reference and maintenance purposes.
  • Risk assessment and mitigation: To identify potential risks and hazards associated with the piping system, such as leaks, explosions, or corrosion, and implement appropriate design features, safety measures, and monitoring systems to mitigate these risks and ensure the reliable and safe operation of the system.
  • Continuous improvement and innovation: To stay updated with the latest advancements in piping technology, materials, and industry practices, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve the design and performance of piping systems, enhance safety and efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Technical support and troubleshooting: To provide technical support and guidance to construction teams, maintenance personnel, and other stakeholders during the installation, operation, and maintenance of the piping system, and to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Knowledge transfer and mentoring: To share expertise and knowledge with junior piping engineers and other team members, and mentor and train them in the principles and practices of piping engineering, thereby contributing to the development of the profession and the growth of the organization.   • Mentoring junior piping engineers Professional experience & education
  • Bachelor's Degree : Chemical Engineering / Chemistry / Bio-medical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 year experience in engineering company in pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience using drawing tool such as CAD, PDMS
  • Experience in develop layout, PID, specification, datasheet
  • Experience in some basic engineering calculation, such as heat load calculation, hydraulic calculation, etc. Specific skills & knowledge
  • Familiar with Pharmaceutical piping Design
  • Excellent skill in BIM
  • Microsoft Office
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
