About This Opportunity
Join our Board Power Radio team in Beijing, where we drive the research, development, and maintenance of board power solutions for Ericsson's global radio product portfolio. As part of Ericsson's worldwide design organization, we develop cutting-edge products for current and future mobile networks—with a strong focus on 5G advancement and 6G forward development.
What You Will Do
- Design and develop board-level power solutions, from high-level architecture to point-of-load converter design
- Work on key power circuits including protection & supervision, EMI filters, isolated converters, and magnetic components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as digital design, system design, and manufacturing practices
- Engage with global production sites and design centers to ensure design for manufacturability and performance
- Participate in technical mentoring and contribute to team knowledge sharing
You will bring
Most of all you have an inquisitive mind and are willing to adapt to new methods and techniques and take initiative to challenge and improve the daily work. You work well independently, but you are also an excellent teammate setting the team goals as priority one. You are experienced within the field and have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Power Engineering or related field
- Demonstrated knowledge from related field, with several years of experience from analogue and digital power hardware design
- Skills in schematic and Layout design, using PCB design tools such as Cadence, Mentor Graphics etc.
- Good experience of working in laboratory environment (instruments, measurement techniques etc.)
- Knowledge in simulating power converters and power systems
- High Power DC/DC is of essence, and AC/DC knowledge is meritorious
- Proficient skills in English; both verbal and written
