As Field Service Engineer, you are an ambassador of Waters and will bring to the market Waters' products and services. The candidate will demonstrates a clear grasp of understanding the customers' business and its growth plans and is able to take that knowledge and convert that into a solution and offering from Waters, with a primary aim of bringing "customer success".
This position brings a great degree of flexibility working in the field. The role will be designated to either a territory and/or markets.

- Complete understanding and wide application of technical expertise in the repair and installation of thermal analysis and rheology instruments.
- Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
Can diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and install all Company product lines.
May require assistance with more difficult installations.

Is consistently on or over established revenue plan for the territory.Work is performed without appreciable direction.

- Frequent outside customer contacts; maintains positive relationships with customers and has a high level of customer satisfaction.
Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with instrument repair and installation.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and often complicated/multi-part instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Ability to present information in one-on-one situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the Company.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Qualifications Education:
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in engineering or other science related Experience:
- 3 years of experience with installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, support and/or end user utilization of scientific instrumentation, preference for previous TA product suite ( thermal analysis and rheology instruments)
- Ability to perform effective system level troubleshooting
- Understanding of the scientific workflow along with the scientific software systems (TRIOS/ IT Windows) Skills:

- This is a territory-based position with travelling within your designated territory, and occasional travels to other countries for activities such as governance of department, local business support, meetings and training.
