- Data Product Design and Definition: Define and design data products while collaborating with product owners and developers to enhance features and functionalities.
- Data Model Development: Develop complex data models in Power BI to support and scale data product operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data mining engineers, analysts, and team members to understand data needs and develop data product solutions that improve business analytics.
- Monitoring and Management: Oversee the performance, stability, and security of data products, handling troubleshooting and issue resolution. Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in data engineering, database management, or data management are a plus. Work Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or data product management, with a preference for candidates with experience in the footwear, apparel, or manufacturing industries.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Power BI and Tableau for data visualization and dashboard design.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, such as AWS Redshift, for data management and operations. Skills/Competencies:
- Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write efficient queries and optimize database performance.
- Skilled in using Python for data analysis and scripting.
- Knowledge of data modeling, with an understanding of best practices in data governance and data quality.
- Familiarity with data privacy and compliance requirements, especially when handling user data.
