As a Procurement Engineer you'll be responsible for the successful execution of supplier and part selection for newly development products, life-cycle management of our existing products and the development and execution of the cost roadmaps for the products/projects assigned to you.

What You'll Do
- You work with R&D, Product Marketing Project Management Office, Commodity Team and Supplier Quality for new product introductions: supplier and part selection, setting/meeting product cost target, early supplier involvement, identify and manage procurement risks.
- You support and execute the implementation of cost reduction roadmaps through, DFX and VE cost reduction plans
- You support and execute life-cycle management of assigned product portfolio from procurement perspective
- You support and execute standardization and complexity reduction
- You support the negotiation teams with conceptual and fact-based information and opportunities to drive significant structural cost reduction improvement
