The Role
The Regional IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the IT infrastructure and regional business applications within China. This role ensures the seamless operation, security, and scalability of IT systems to support business operations. The manager acts as a key liaison between the IT department and regional leadership, aligning IT strategies with business goals and providing direct support to regional leaders.
The successful candidate will lead a team of IT professionals, collaborate with global IT teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services to meet both regional and organizational objectives.

- IT Infrastructure Management
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the regional IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems to support regional operations.
- Implement and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures to maintain system security and compliance.
- Manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.
- Manage the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of regional business applications to meet local business needs.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand application requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Coordinate with global IT teams to ensure regional applications integrate effectively with enterprise systems.
- Provide ongoing support and training for end-users to maximize the value of business applications.
- Lead and mentor a regional IT team, ensuring professional development and performance management.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the IT team.
- Act as the primary IT point of contact for regional leaders, providing regular updates on IT initiatives and performance.
- Collaborate with global IT leadership to align regional IT strategies with the organization's overall goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and technology enhancements to drive operational efficiency.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends to ensure the region remains competitive and innovative.
- Develop and manage the regional IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors for IT services, hardware, and software.
- Ensure compliance with regional and global IT policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proactively identify and mitigate security risks, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and systems.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain a secure and compliant IT environment.
Your Profile
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing regional IT operations and business applications in a multinational environment.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, including networks, servers, virtualization, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience with enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, and other business-critical systems.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMP).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Soft Skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with regional leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align IT initiatives with business objectives.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
