Mission of the Role As a key supporter of the Trade Marketing Manager, you will assist in developing and executing trade marketing plans for designated skincare brands in department stores and high-end shopping malls. You will drive sales performance, enhance brand image, optimize in-store execution, and empower the frontline Beauty Advisor (BA) team through effective marketing activities and training, ensuring our leading competitiveness in the premium retail environment. Key Responsibilities
- Sales Support & Business Analysis o Assist the Trade Marketing Manager in analyzing sales data (Sell-in & Sell-out) and tracking the achievement of sales targets for skincare categories across stores. o Prepare regular business reports, including weekly/monthly reports and post-campaign reviews, providing valuable business insights and recommendations. o Monitor channel inventory levels and collaborate with the sales team to ensure healthy product flow.
- Trade Marketing Campaign Planning & Execution o Assist in planning and implementing offline marketing activities in department stores and high-end shopping malls, such as new product launches, brand weeks, member salons, and holiday promotions. o Manage the application, production, distribution, and tracking of marketing materials, ensuring they align with the brand's premium positioning and in-store visual merchandising standards. o Manage trade marketing campaign budgets to maximize ROI.
- Channel & In-Store Execution Management o Conduct regular store visits to inspect skincare brand counter displays, product inventory, BA service quality, and competitor activities, ensuring an exceptional in-store experience. o Gather store feedback, promptly resolve or escalate execution issues, and act as a bridge between the marketing and sales teams. o Assist in optimizing counter visual merchandising to enhance the brand's appeal and influence in premium environments.
- Training & BA Team Empowerment o Assist in developing training materials (e.g., product manuals, campaign talking points, sales techniques) to ensure the BA team accurately communicates the brand story and product key selling points. o Coordinate and participate in BA training sessions to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and member management capabilities. o Assist in designing and executing BA incentive programs to boost team sales motivation.
- Member Management & Customer Relationship o Support the execution of in-store member recruitment and loyalty programs, assisting in analyzing member data to increase repeat purchase rates. o Assist in planning exclusive events for premium members to deepen the emotional connection between the brand and core consumers. Qualifications Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in trade marketing, marketing, or sales support, with a background in cosmetics, skincare, or related industries such as luxury goods or FMCG.
- Familiarity with the operational models and marketing characteristics of department stores and high-end shopping malls.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
- Data-sensitive, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and report writing.
- Passionate about the beauty industry, with a strong interest in skincare and keen market insights.
- Good aesthetic sense and meticulous attention to detail. Preferred:
- Experience in successfully planning or executing offline campaigns for premium brands.
- Basic financial knowledge, with experience in budget management being a plus.
