Role Overview
The Head of Learning & Talent Development (L&TD) is responsible for designing and executing the company's learning, leadership development, and talent management strategies. This role partners closely with senior business leaders and HR teams to build organizational capabilities, foster a culture of continuous learning, and ensure a strong pipeline of future leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Learning Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with business goals.
- Drive digital learning transformation and promote innovative learning solutions.
- Leadership & Talent Development
- Design and deliver leadership development programs for different career stages.
- Build succession planning frameworks and strengthen talent pipelines for critical roles.
- Performance & Career Development
- Partner with HRBPs and managers to integrate learning with performance management.
- Create career development frameworks and tools to support employee growth.
- Culture & Engagement
- Champion a learning culture that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and innovation.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion through tailored development initiatives.
- Global & Local Alignment
- Collaborate with global HR and L&D teams to localize programs for China while ensuring consistency with global standards.
- Benchmark against industry best practices and continuously improve learning offerings.
- Analytics & ROI
- Measure the effectiveness of learning programs through data and feedback.
- Provide insights to leadership on talent readiness, skills gaps, and organizational capability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive HR or L&D experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing large-scale learning and talent development programs.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate organizational needs into learning solutions.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills; ability to work across cultures and functions.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
- Experience in multinational companies or foreign-invested enterprises strongly preferred.
