**HR Operations Specialist / HR Expert / HR Generalist**

Location - Shanghai, China

Position target:
Managing HR operational processes related to employee documentation and payroll across multiple China locations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with Chinese labor laws and company standards.

Functions:

Payroll and Compensation:

  • Preparation of materials for monthly payroll across all Chinese entities/locations.
  • Handle quarterly and annual bonus calculations.
  • Ensure timely submission of social insurance, housing funds etc.
  • Coordinate with Finance for payroll accounting.
  • Act as a key contact point for outsourced payroll vendors.

HR Documentation and Administration:

  • Prepare and manage employment contracts, renewals, amendments, and terminations.
  • Maintain employee personal files, digital and hard copies.
  • Issue employment verification letters and related documents.

Other:

  • Support of the relocation process for expatriates (documentation for employees and their family members, renewal of work permits, budget control, etc.).
  • Preparation of reports (on payroll, headcount indicators, budget plan vs. actuals, etc.).
  • Provide timely HR-related information to internal stakeholders.
  • Support internal communication on HR policies and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor + (Finance, HR).
  • Strong MS Excel, SAP HCM skills.
  • Minimum
    3 years
    of experience as
    HR Generalist/C&B in China.
  • Strong knowledge of
    PRC labor laws, tax and social insurance regulations.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese
