We are looking for an English Language Acquisition Teacher for an International school located in Guangzhou. This position is available from February 2026.

Job Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging English Language Acquisition lessons within the IB MYP framework across appropriate phases.
- Plan a coherent language programme aligned with MYP objectives, integrating ATL skills, inquiry, and authentic contexts.
- Differentiate instruction for diverse proficiency levels, using strategies for EAL learners and targeted language goals (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
- Use formative and summative assessments aligned to MYP criteria to monitor progress; maintain clear records and provide timely feedback.
- Collaborate with local teachers and the wider academic team on unit planning, vertical and horizontal alignment, and whole-school events.
- Support students' literacy across the curriculum and promote academic language for other subject areas.
- Communicate regularly with parents on progress, targets, and strategies for home support.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Applied Linguistics, Education, or related field
- Two or more years of teaching experience, preferably with secondary/middle school learners
- IB MYP Language Acquisition experience preferred; training or certification in IB programmes an advantage
Salary and benefits
- Monthly salary of 25,000 to 30,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
- Relocation allowance of 2,000 RMB
